Scaffolding course for installers and users – online and classroom
Working safely at height is essential for both safety and efficiency on a construction site. With the right training, you can prevent accidents and ensure that all workers have the necessary skills to handle scaffolding safely. In an industry where regulations and requirements are constantly evolving, it is important to stay up to date and have documentation that shows you are following current standards.
GTM Kompetanse offers complete and flexible scaffolding courses adapted to both users and installers. Our courses are developed in line with the Norwegian Working Environment Regulations and NS 9700-1:2016, and provide you with documented training that ensures safe and correct use and installation of scaffolding.
You can choose between online courses for theory, combined with practical training in a company or on-site, or traditional classroom teaching. For companies, we also offer in-house courses tailored to their needs.
The courses cover, among other things:
- Safe use of scaffolding and fall protection
- Assembly and disassembly of scaffolding at various heights
- Practical exercise under the guidance of qualified instructors
- Product-specific training in the scaffolding system used
Course overview:
- Scaffolding user course (1–3 hours / ½ day)
- Scaffolding course 2–5 meters (15 hours of theory and practice)
- Scaffolding course 2–9 meters (30 hours of theory and practice)
- Scaffolding course over 9 meters – scaffolding installer course (at least 108 hours of theory and practice)
All courses end with a course certificate that documents your competence.
The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority is increasing its inspections and sanctions for lack of training. It is therefore important to ensure that you and your employees have the correct documentation in place.
