Everyone who will be performing work on national and county roads must have training in work safety. Requirements for mandatory training apply regardless of whether the work is paid or not.

GTM Kompetanse now offers Work Alert courses 1, 2 and 3.

Work notification course 1

The purpose of the training is to provide participants with basic knowledge and understanding of their own safety and the safety of others when working on or near roads, and what considerations should be taken. Participants will also gain knowledge of the formal procedures that must be followed before work begins and during work.

Work notification course 2

Course 2 is for those responsible. The purpose of the training is to provide participants with the theoretical platform necessary to be able to fulfill their role as a responsible person in a good way. In addition, training is provided in notification plans.

Work notification course 3

The aim of the training is to provide participants with basic knowledge of the requirements set by the Norwegian Road Traffic Authority for those who are to perform manual traffic control on national and county roads. After completing the course, participants should have knowledge of how manual traffic control should be performed in practice, the hazards a traffic controller is exposed to and how the person concerned can best protect themselves while performing their work.
