Instructor – First Aid


Would you like to contribute to increased safety and better preparedness in workplaces across the country?

GTM Kompetanse is experiencing increasing demand for courses in first aid and emergency preparedness, and we therefore want to strengthen our instructor network across the country.

We are looking for committed and professionally strong instructors who want to collaborate with us on a contract basis and deliver high-quality classroom courses to the corporate market.


The mission involves

  • Conducting classroom courses in first aid and life-saving measures
  • Teaching in accordance with current professional guidelines and recommendations
  • Practical and theoretical guidance of course participants
  • Teaching correct behavior in emergency situations, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Contribute to a safe, structured and professional learning experience
  • Follow-up of participants to ensure good learning and mastery
  • Contribute to the further development and quality assurance of course content


We offer collaboration that involves

  • Assignments on commission or fixed agreed remuneration per course
  • Flexibility and freedom to manage your own availability

Assignment form

  • The assignment is carried out as a self-employed person

Desired background and expertise

  • Valid and documented certification as a first aid instructor
  • Certification from the Red Cross, Norwegian People's Aid or the Norwegian Resuscitation Council
  • Documented experience with teaching or training in first aid
  • Good knowledge of current guidelines for life-saving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Experience from health, rescue, emergency response or similar is an advantage
  • Good Norwegian and English skills, both oral and written.
  • Driving license class B


Personal prerequisites

  • Clear, safe and educational communicator
  • Structured and responsible
  • Professional and trustworthy appearance
  • Ability to create engagement and confidence in teaching
  • Flexible and comfortable with travel

Instructor - First aid course for those who care for children


Would you like to contribute to safer everyday lives for children and employees who work with children?

GTM Kompetanse is experiencing increasing demand for first aid courses aimed at those who care for children, and we therefore want to strengthen our instructor network across the country.

We are looking for committed and professionally strong instructors who want to collaborate with us on a contract basis and deliver high-quality classroom courses to businesses that work with children, such as kindergartens, schools, after-school care centers and similar.


The mission involves

  • Conducting first aid courses aimed at you caring for children
  • Training in handling acute situations such as illness, injuries and accidents in children
  • Dissemination of correct behavior in the event of choking, unconsciousness, fall injuries and similar incidents
  • Practical and theoretical guidance of course participants
  • Contribute to a safe, structured and professional learning experience
  • Follow-up of participants to ensure good learning and mastery
  • Contribute to the further development and quality assurance of course content

Instructor – Water lifesaving course

GTM Kompetanse is experiencing increasing demand for water lifesaving courses and therefore wants to strengthen our instructor network across the country.

We are looking for professionally strong and responsible instructors who want to collaborate with us on a contract basis and deliver high-quality courses in lifesaving, self-rescue and safe behavior in and around water.


The mission involves

  • Conducting lifesaving courses in water, both in pools and at sea
  • Training in self-rescue, buddy rescue and use of rescue equipment
  • Education in risk assessment, prevention and safe behavior in and around water
  • Practical and theoretical guidance of course participants
  • Ensure that courses are conducted in line with current guidelines and safety requirements
  • Contribute to a safe, structured and professional learning experience
  • Contribute to the further development and quality assurance of course content


We offer collaboration that involves

  • Valid and documented certification as an instructor in water lifesaving
  • Certification from the Norwegian Lifesaving Society, the Norwegian Lifesaving Society or equivalent
  • Documented competence in swimming and lifesaving
  • Valid competence in life-saving first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Experience from teaching, emergency response, rescue, sports, school or similar is an advantage
  • Good physical fitness and confidence in water
  • Good Norwegian and English skills, both oral and written.
  • Driving license class B


Personal prerequisites

  • High risk understanding and strong security awareness
  • Ability to create confidence and mastery in course participants
  • Flexible and comfortable with travel
