Norwegian authorities require that employees can document practical and theoretical training in, for example, the use of fall protection equipment, lifts (personnel lifts), lifting equipment for slinging and hooking and the use of dangerous tools. The employer is responsible for ensuring that employees have the necessary training.

Course certificates are issued to participants to fulfill the legal requirements for documentation.
