The course normally lasts 3–5 hours, and we are happy to adapt to your work schedule.

What kind of content does the course cover – is it adapted to situations that may arise in a kindergarten?
Yes, the course is specifically tailored for kindergarten employees. We cover, among other things:
- What is life-saving first aid for children?
- Notification and patient examination
- Management of unconsciousness
- Clear airways: Different techniques for children
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in children
- Treatment of poisonings and acute illnesses
- Acute medical conditions such as seizures and allergic reactions
Do participants receive a course certificate after completing the training, and is it valid according to requirements from the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority or the Norwegian Directorate of Education?
Yes, all participants receive a certificate after completing the course.
We only use certified instructors on our first aid courses, and all of our first aid courses, including first aid courses for kindergarten employees, are designed in line with the guidelines from the Norwegian First Aid Council and meet the requirements of both the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority and the Norwegian Directorate of Education.
How many participants can be on the course at the same time?
We recommend a maximum of 15 participants per course group to ensure quality, individual follow-up and good practical training.
Who are the instructors – do they have relevant experience from the healthcare or childcare sector?
For our first aid courses, we only use certified instructors. The instructors are certified through the Norwegian Resuscitation Council (NRR) and Norwegian People's Aid.
The instructors have extensive experience in first aid, many with backgrounds in ambulance, nursing and emergency medicine.
Several also have experience teaching in kindergartens and schools, and adapt the teaching to the target group.
