- Online course in Diisocyanates: Mandatory Training
Diiocyanates – Documented Safety Training
Effective August 24, 2023, mandatory training requirements were introduced for anyone involved in the use or handling of diisocyanates and mixtures and products containing diisocyanates. Employers must ensure that all employees who use diisocyanates and mixtures and products containing diisocyanates have received documented training.
This online course is designed to meet the government's requirement (from August 24, 2023) for training with documented results for anyone working with diisocyanates and diisocyanate-containing products. Once you have completed the course, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have to an advisor in the field.
This requirement also applies to employers who have employees who come into contact with diisocyanates. The requirement means that one must be familiar with the harmful effects, how exposure occurs, preventive measures, safe working methods and the handling of accidents and adverse events, in accordance with REACH Regulation No. 2020/1149.
The online course provides an introduction to the practical application of the Regulation, and it covers levels 1 and 2 (General Training and Intermediate Training).
