Our safety course in the use of dangerous hand tools satisfies the requirements for documented training according to the Regulations on the Performance of Work §10-2, Regulations on Organization, Management and Participation, and the Internal Control Regulations. The course provides a basic introduction to the safe use of dangerous small tools such as: angle grinders, chop saws, nail guns and nail guns.
The course provides you with a basic understanding of the laws and regulations that apply to those who will use dangerous hand tools, as well as those who will supervise work with such equipment. It covers the general use of different types of tools, the hazards that the tools can pose, and how to proceed with maintenance and inspection. The course goes into detail about the different types of personal protective equipment that are required and why they should be used.

The online course is flexible and practical – and gives you the opportunity to take the course in a way that suits you. You are welcome to divide the course into several sessions, so that this best suits your situation. By documenting practice, together with theoretical review in the course, it satisfies the requirements for documented training.
To receive a certificate of competence, the following must be approved:
- The theoretical exam is passed in the course
- Documentation of practical training is submitted

After ordering, you will receive an order confirmation with a link to the participant list.
Fill out the form with the participants' information and send it to post@gtmkompetanse.no .
Login information will be sent to participants after the form has been processed.

Practical training
Practical training
Some of our online courses also require the participant to complete practical training after completing the theory course.
For documented training, it is required that the person providing the training has the same or equivalent course. This person must also document the practical document that belongs to the online course.
