Course Description
Our course in safe excavation work gives you the necessary theoretical knowledge to perform the work safely and securely, while complying with the requirements of current laws and regulations.
Purpose
To provide participants with basic knowledge and understanding of their own and others' safety when digging.
Target group
Everyone who participates in excavation work, whether you are an excavator operator or a plumber working down in the excavation pit, must have the necessary training for the work.
Workers who will dig deeper than 1.25 meters must have special training in excavation work.
The following topics will be reviewed, among others:
- Objective HSE
- Risk assessment of all work at the excavation pit
- Protective measures for safe execution
- Handling of special risk conditions
- Handling of adverse events
- General rules for excavation work
- Requirements for access and evacuation
Practical information
The course is conducted online on your own PC. Along the way, you will be given assignments that must be answered continuously. The course ends with an exam, and a certificate of competence is issued upon passing the exam.
