Online lift course – Documented training in classes A, B and C

This lift course provides you with documented training in the safe use of personal lifts. According to the Regulations on the Performance of Work § 10-2, everyone who uses a lift must have such training. The course is suitable for both employees and employers who need statutory competence in an effective way.

The purpose of the lift course

The aim of the course is to give you basic knowledge about the safe use of lifts. Proper training prevents accidents and contributes to a safe working environment. The course provides a clear introduction to the safe use of personal lifts at work.

Which lift classes does the course cover?

This lift course gives you documented theoretical training for the three most common classes in Norway:

• Class A: Trailer-mounted lifts and personnel lifts equipped with support legs (cannot be driven from the basket).
  
• Class B: Self-propelled lifts that can be operated from the basket (e.g. boom lifts, scissor lifts and crawler lift).
  
• Class C: Vehicle-mounted lifts (lift mounted on a truck or van) for access to otherwise inaccessible places.

By choosing a course that covers Classes A, B and C, you ensure that you have the theory in order for most types of personal lifters you will encounter at work.

How to take the lift course (100% flexible)

The course is completely online and can be taken whenever it suits you – on a PC, mobile or tablet. You get short and clear modules with films, pictures and simple text. You can log in and out whenever you want, and the system remembers where you left off. The course ends with a theory test that documents your knowledge.

Practical training

After the theory part, you must complete practical training in the company. This is done together with a person who already has documented competence. A complete form for documentation of practice is included with the course at no extra cost.

Who is the lift course suitable for?

The course is suitable for anyone who uses personnel lifts in their work, e.g. in construction, industry, cleaning and logistics. We offer the course in Norwegian, English and Polish to ensure full understanding for all employees. Course certificate and validity

Once you have passed the theory and submitted documented practice, you will be issued a course certificate. Our course certificates have no statutory expiry date, but we recommend retaking every 5 years to stay up to date on safety and regulations.
