What is Hot Work?

Hot work is defined as work involving the use of tools and equipment that generate sparks and/or heat that can cause a fire. Hot work includes the use of open and hidden flames, hot air, welding, cutting and grinding equipment.

Experience a film-based and easy-to-understand hot work online course that you can take anywhere, anytime. Our online course is designed to be easy to complete on a PC, tablet or smartphone, without the need for special technical skills.

Our Hot Work online course includes a digital textbook, workbook and digital certificate. The certificate is issued by the Norwegian Fire Protection Association and is valid for 5 years.

Practical extinguishing exercise:

The instructor for practical extinguishing exercises can be:

  • Approved instructor in the "Fire protection when performing hot work" scheme
  • Firefighter with expertise in conducting practical firefighting exercises
  • A qualified person with expertise in conducting practical firefighting exercises

Exam:

Our hot worker online course includes an exam with immediate results and up to three attempts.

Approved by the Norwegian Fire Protection Association:

Our hot work online course is approved by the Norwegian Fire Protection Association and complies with the latest safety regulations.

You will have access to the online course within 30 minutes after we receive your order.

How do I pay?

We offer payment by invoice and VISA/Credit card.

The standard due date for invoices is 10 days.

If you choose an invoice, it will be sent to the email address provided when ordering or sent as EHF if available.

Practical firefighting exercise

After completing and passing the online course in Hot Work, a practical fire extinguishing exercise must be carried out and documented. The fire extinguishing exercise must be carried out in connection with the online course, and no later than three (3) months after completing and passing the exam.
