This is an information/knowledge course about asbestos. The course is an introduction for people who want to learn more about asbestos and the dangers associated with the material, and satisfies the requirements for documented competence in relation to the Working Environment Act, section 3-2.

The course provides training in the identification and dangers of asbestos, but is not a full-fledged asbestos remediation course.

Objective
The purpose is to strengthen the general knowledge about asbestos for both professionals and private individuals. The course teaches you about asbestos, the history and dangers associated with the material, where we find asbestos and how to identify asbestos-containing products. You learn about the laws and regulations that apply to asbestos, as well as the requirements for both employees and employers. The course gives you the knowledge required to know about the dangers of asbestos, so that you can avoid both accidents and dangers that asbestos entails.

Personnel at risk of accidental exposure to asbestos.
Carpenters, plumbers, electricians, demolition workers, HVAC workers, insulators, fitters, roofers, janitors, emergency personnel, etc.
