Scaffolding course 2-5 meters – theory and practice
Norwegian authorities introduced new rules for working at height that came into force on 1 January 2016. The most significant change was stricter training requirements for scaffolders. The rules are laid down in Chapter 17 of the "Regulations on the performance of work", which was revised in connection with this. Training for scaffolders is now divided based on the height of the scaffold. Scaffolders who will work with scaffolds over two metres must have training in assembly, dismantling, modification and inspection of scaffolds. In addition, the training should provide competence to assess the condition of the scaffolding material and the need for maintenance.
This is included as part of a scaffolding course up to 5 meters.
