Norwegian authorities require that all buildings must be properly fire-proofed in accordance with building regulations. Fireproofing is intended to prevent the spread of fire and smoke between fire compartments. Through this training, participants will become familiar with the relevant regulations that apply, and they will receive an introduction to why and how to perform fireproofing.

Fireproofing course - course for safe fire protection

Purpose:

Fireproofing courses provide participants with increased knowledge of fire compartments, fire sections and building technical conditions. It provides the basic knowledge necessary to carry out fireproofing in a safe and regulatory manner.

The following topics will be reviewed, among others:

  • Why fireproofing?
  • Fire cells and fire sections
  • Fire protection of penetrations in fire-separating structures
  • Solutions for fireproofing and fire jointing
  • Documentation

Target group:

Fireproofing courses are suitable for workers in the electrical, plumbing and ventilation industries. It is also relevant for contractors who depend on regulatory fireproofing for the completion of projects.

Practical information

For in-house theory courses, we bring all the necessary equipment to complete the course.

If you have a projector with a screen and a whiteboard available, this is an advantage - but not a requirement.

In addition, there must be suitable premises available for carrying out the theoretical part of the course.

You book in-house courses by contacting us directly by email or phone. Together we will agree on a time, location and any practical needs, so that the course is tailored to your company.

You will receive an invoice from us well in advance of the course start. The invoice must be paid no later than 2 days before the instructor arrives at your address.

The course will not be held if the course fee has not been paid. In the event of non-payment, the claim will still be collected.
