Norwegian authorities require employers to ensure that all employees have received documented training in the operation of all work equipment that is considered dangerous or that requires special care when used. ("Regulations on the performance of work" Section 10-2 "Requirements for documented safety training when using work equipment".) The course provides a basic introduction to the safe use of dangerous small tools such as: angle grinders, chop saws, nail guns and nail guns. Certificates of competence are issued to participants to meet the legal requirements for documentation.
Purpose:Provide course participants with increased knowledge and make them aware of important safety measures so that personal injuries and accidents in the workplace can be avoided.
