Implementation: Theory
According to the "Regulations on the Performance of Work" No. 1357, Section 17-5, the employer must ensure that employees who use scaffolding as a work platform to perform work at height have received training in the use of the scaffolding in question, including a review of the instructions for assembly, use and disassembly, cf. Section 17-8, second paragraph.
Everyone who works or will be on scaffolding is required to take this course, unless they have already taken a scaffolding course 2-5 meters or a scaffolding course 5-9 meters.

Scaffolding user course - Documented training
Purpose:
Qualify personnel for the safe use of scaffolding.
The following topics will be reviewed, among others:
- Laws and regulations
- Introduction to current scaffolding
- Review of assembly instructions
- Scaffolding modifications, maintenance and inspection
- Scaffolding approvals and markings
- Procedures
Target group:
Personnel who will be working on scaffolding and ladders.
Duration:
5 hours
Requirements for prior knowledge:
No.
Practical information:
This course does not require practical training, but a review of assembly instructions for the relevant scaffolding is required.
