Section 3-5 of the Working Environment Act requires that the general manager or senior manager of a business must be able to document training in HSE work. The duty is personal and cannot be delegated. Completed training must be documented in writing. The "HSE course for managers" provides an introduction to the most important aspects of HSE work and is carried out in line with the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority's guidance for this type of training. Course certificates are issued after completing the course to meet the requirement for written documentation.
The following topics will be reviewed, among others:
- Introduction to the content and structure of the Working Environment Act
- Information on the regulations of the Working Environment Act
- Roles in HSE work
- Working environment requirements
- Physical and psychosocial work environment
- How to build, implement and maintain an HSE system in the workplace

Practical information
Do we need to provide any equipment to complete the course?
For in-house theory courses, we bring all the necessary equipment to complete the course.
If you have a projector with a screen and a whiteboard available, this is an advantage - but not a requirement.
In addition, there must be suitable premises available for carrying out the theoretical part of the course.
How do I book an in-house course?
You book in-house courses by contacting us directly by email or phone. Together we will agree on a time, location and any practical needs, so that the course is tailored to your company.
How do I pay?
You will receive an invoice from us well in advance of the course start. The invoice must be paid no later than 2 days before the instructor arrives at your address.
The course will not be held if the course fee has not been paid. In the event of non-payment, the claim will still be collected.
