Norwegian authorities impose strict requirements on companies that work with chemicals. With regard to employee training, Section 3-4 states that the employer shall ensure that employees and safety representatives receive training so that they can perform their work tasks related to the use of chemicals in a safe and regulatory manner. (Regulations on the performance of work, use of work equipment and associated technical requirements).
Purpose
Courses in chemical handling should ensure that participants gain knowledge about handling chemicals so that after completing the course they can handle chemicals in a responsible manner and in accordance with the requirements set by the authorities in laws and regulations.
Target group
Anyone who works with or comes into contact with chemicals, or who has responsibilities related to chemical handling

The course is about how to prevent accidents and health damage when working with chemicals, and how to use laws, regulations and other sources that provide information about labeling and handling of chemicals and hazardous substances.

Practical information
The course can be completed on a PC, smartphone or tablet as long as you have access to the internet. It is structured in modules with film, text and images. After completing the course, you must pass a test to receive a course certificate.

After ordering, you will receive an order confirmation with a link to the participant list.
Fill out the form with the participants' information and send it to post@gtmkompetanse.no .
Login information will be sent to participants after the form has been processed.

Practical training
Practical training
Some of our online courses also require the participant to complete practical training after completing the theory course.
For documented training, it is required that the person providing the training has the same or equivalent course. This person must also document the practical document that belongs to the online course.
