The purpose of the training is to provide the forklift driver with good theoretical and practical basic training in the safe use of forklifts, so that accidents and incidents involving forklift operation are avoided. The training should give the candidate a practical understanding of the principles of the forklift's construction, operation, driving style, loading diagram and safety equipment.
