Do participants receive a course certificate after completing the training, and is it valid according to requirements from the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority or the Norwegian Directorate of Education?

Yes, all participants receive a course certificate after completing the course. We only use instructors from the Red Cross on our first aid courses, and all of our first aid courses, including first aid courses for kindergarten employees, are designed in line with the guidelines from the Norwegian First Aid Council and meet the requirements of both the Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority and the Norwegian Directorate of Education.

How many participants can be on the course at the same time?

We recommend a maximum of 15 participants per course group to ensure quality, individual follow-up and good practical training.

For larger groups, we can divide the course into several parts or assign multiple instructors.

Who are the instructors – do they have relevant experience from the healthcare or childcare sector?

For our first aid courses, we only use our instructors from the Red Cross.

The instructors have extensive experience in first aid, many with backgrounds in ambulance, nursing and emergency medicine.

Several also have experience teaching in kindergartens and schools, and adapt the teaching to the target group.
